How Watching One Youtuber Changed my Blog Completely

Hey everyone and welcome back to the blog! Today is my first day back at school after winter break. While I am not happy about going back to school, I am excited about everything 2019 will bring my way.  In today’s blog post I am continuing my productivity theme I’ve been keeping up the past few days, and talking about a YouTuber I found that never fails to motivate me and get me working. I recently “relaunched” my blog to have more of a clean and productive theme to it, and I am quite happy with it so far. One of the main reasons I changed up my blog content and theme was because of how inspired I was by this YouTuber!

P.S. Mixed into this blog post is a very, very bold and EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT.

I find so much motivation to work when I watch others get productive. A couple weeks ago, I came across the PERFECT productivity and cleanliness YouTuber, Rachelleea. She makes videos about being productive, living your best life, and cleaning. I really enjoy her videos because they are motivational, but she is also really chill, so they are fun to watch.

Today I thought I would talk a little bit about her channel, and how it inspired me to relaunch my blog.

Rachel’s videos never fail to motivate me,  she is always uploading videos about getting productive and bettering your life. When I watch her clean or get work done, I instantly want to get working on my blog. It’s really inspiring how optimistic she is and how hard she works on her YouTube.

Not only does she inspire me to work hard, but she inspired me to change my blog. I binged a whole bunch of her videos one day and realized that I LOVE the content she is making, and I want mine to have a similar theme. She is such a girl boss and is always coming up with new and inspiring youtube ideas. I decided that in 2019, I want to focus on productivity on my blog, which I am really passionate about. In 2019, I am really trying to be a girl boss and work towards a successful blog!

Rachel is so productive that she manages to post a fun and fresh video every other day. I mean… what?? She is so passionate about her youtube and her work that she is able to get sh*t done!

I realized that I can do anything I want this year! I am so confident that I can grow my blog, be MAJORLY productive and write lots of blog posts I am proud of. I am not sure how long this will last… but… in 2019, I am going to try to post a blog post every day. I know, crazy! When I first started my blog, I had such a hard time writing a blog post even once a week. Even in the past months, I have struggled to write two blog posts a week. I quit Blogmas because I couldn’t manage to write even nearly enough content that I was proud of.

Writing a blog post for every day may seem like a lot of effort and work, but as soon as I decided that I wanted to write more about productivity and organization, I was able to write two blog posts a day! I think that my only issue keeping up with posting every day will be taking pictures and balancing schoolwork. I know I can do this, and I know it will help my blog grow!

Another way Rachel inspires me (haha the list could go on forever) is her aesthetic. Everything from her graphics to her apartment is clean, organized, and white/grey. I love how bright her channel is (pic below) and I decided to change up my blog to make it a little more aesthetically pleasing.

My blog is now super simple, and I am trying not to post pictures on it that I am not proud of.

However, I didn’t want both my Instagram and my blog to feel white and plain.

If you didn’t know, I recently collaborated with clean and clear, and they sent me their new LEMON products. The packaging of all the products was a lovely yellow color. When I made the unboxing video a story highlight, the cover of it was yellow (because it was a picture of the products). I instantly flashed back to when I started my blog and I had a yellow theme. I had a yellow theme because my blog title is and was the Ray of SUNSHINE Blog. This is a really long way of saying, I am hoping to incorporate the colors white and yellow into my blog and Instagram theme, to incorporate how I started my blog.

I want to be a ray of sunshine in the blogosphere:) My goal is to post content that inspires people to live a better life and a more productive one.

This blog post was a very long, rambly way of saying Rachelleea really helped me to the next stage of my blogging journey, and I can truly say that I am happy with the blog posts I am publishing.

I would 100% recommend checking her videos out because they will really motivate you. My favorite videos by her are her “get productive with me.” Here is the link to her channel.

Thank you for reading today’s post, I hope you enjoyed it! I am loving writing this type of content, but let me know in the comments if you are enjoying this type of content. Let’s kickass this year!!

Love,

Raquel
